Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) Contracts TELoIP-NY for Multi-site Technical Trial In Ontario. |
| |
| Toronto, Canada October 17, 2005 -- TELoIP-NY Inc, a high-speed Bonded Internet service provider (ISP) announces, the commencement of a pilot trial with the MTO (Ministry of Transportation of Ontario) for it's T1ultraTM Higher-Speed Bonded Internet Services. |
The trial shall deliver Higher-Speed Bonded Internet access with speeds up to 18Mbps per location, and provide the Ministry with the ability to implement above average service levels to multiple sites across Ontario at substantial savings to the Department.
|
| "There is significant value to enabling secured, broadband access to network applications and resources in remote locations that do not traditionally have facilities that support connections greater than dial-up. Through enabling technologies such as TELoIP-NY we see potential opportunity to reducing costs through: minimizing onsite visits for technology support and by increasing the overall security of the Government's I&IT infrastructure by maximizing remote distribution of security and application patches, thereby reducing the requirement to remediate and address potentially malicious attacks or disruptions. But cost savings are only the beginning; it is our mandate to deliver the best, most efficient and cost effective business-enabling technologies to our clients. And remote broadband services allow us to deliver these types of services to the furthest corners of the province." said the Manager, Network Services, Transportation I&IT Cluster, MTO - Ministry of Transportation of Ontario. |
| "TELoIP-NY is prepared to work with the Province to help drive down costs and increase throughput, for increased productivity and service levels to the public in Ontario." said Mr. Stewart Berry, Chief Executive Officer, TELoIP-NY Inc. |
